Moon Companies is seeking Class B CDL Vacuum / Dumpster Truck Drivers for Moon Portable Restrooms. This truck driver position is responsible for cleaning grease traps and grease interceptors for Moon Portable Restrooms’ clients across Kentuckiana as well as pumping holding tanks, cleaning portable restrooms, and more. Insurance and benefit coverage available after 60 days.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Operate a Class B CDL Vacuum Truck supplied by Moon Portable Restrooms.
- Clean grease traps and grease interceptors owned by Moon Portable Restrooms’ clientele in the Louisville Metro area.
- Pump holding tanks at respective Moon Portable Restroom client locations.
- Clean Moon Portable Restrooms property including portable restrooms, restroom trailers, holding tanks, handwashing stations, and more.
- Following the Company’s safety guidelines, properly secures equipment to appropriate vehicle/equipment. Assist yard personnel when necessary to load and unload portable restrooms, hand sinks and holding tanks.
- Follow all established policies and safety rules and regulations.
- Maintains truck log according to state and federal regulations.
- Special /other projects as assigned by management.
TRUCK DRIVER QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Prefer a minimum of 1-year commercial driving experience, but will train the right person.
- Can read and understand documents.
- Ability to effectively present information to customers, clients, and other employees and organizations.
- Able to carry/lift up to 75 lbs.
- Must have a clean MVR, background, and drug screen.
- Maintain a consistent workload that involves manual labor.
- Physically able to bend, stoop, squat, sit and maneuver in confined spaces.
- Understanding of flexible hours, and must be able to work weekends when needed.
- Ability to be a team player, flexibility is a must.
